Hi There,
I’m Kim Rawlins
My love for photography started over 10 years ago, capturing friends, family, and travels. My passion really grew when I started working as an on-mountain portrait photographer at Whistler’s famous ski mountain in Canada. Through snowstorms, frozen hair, toes and fingers I was able to capture some really beautiful photos of people while at one of the most beautiful and scenic locations in the world. Fast forward three years I’m back in Townsville and in between chasing after my toddler Liam, playing fetch with our Border Collie Lily and watching unforgiving amounts of reality TV, I’ve been fortunate enough to capture so many beautiful memories for couples and families.
I absolutely love what I do and how my photography is timeless and captures moments that can be cherished for many years.
I’m so excited to share my love of photography with you. Being a photographer in Townsville is so exciting as there are so many amazing locations to capture beautiful couples and weddings. I can’t wait to be a part of your special day!

The Process
YOUR PHOTOS You will receive sneak peek photos 7 days after your wedding. Your full gallery will be ready 10-12 weeks after your wedding.
LETS CHAT Getting to know you and your wedding day vision is super important. We can chat via phone call, meet for coffee or discuss over email.
BOOK Are you ready to take the next step! To guarantee the date I require a signed contract and retainer payment of 50%. The remaining amount will be due 4 weeks prior to your wedding day. Once you give me the go ahead, I’ll send you the contract, invoice, and booking questionnaire.
WEDDING DAY This is what you’ve been waiting for! Time to have the most beautiful day and capture those special memories!
FINAL WEDDING QUESTIONNAIRE I’ll send you the final wedding questionnaire ~3-4 months prior to your wedding day. This will give me all the information to start your wedding day run-sheet. I will email you the run-sheeet when it’s completed.
LOCKED IN When the payment has been received and contracted signed - your wedding day is locked in! How exciting!!
FINALISING DETAILS I’ll give you a call 3-4 weeks prior to your wedding to go through the run-sheet and make any necessary changes.
